Galvanized corrugated steel roofing panels, also known as galvanized sheet or sheet metal, are cold-rolled continuous hot-dip galvanized thin steel sheets and strips with a thickness of 0.25–2.5 mm. The steel sheet has an attractive surface with blocky or leaf-like zinc crystal patterns, a strong zinc coating, and excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion. It also has good weldability and cold-forming properties. Compared to electro-galvanized thin steel sheets, hot-dip galvanized thin steel sheets have a thicker zinc coating and are mainly used for components requiring high corrosion resistance.

Galvanized sheets are widely used in construction, packaging, railway vehicles, agricultural machinery manufacturing, and daily necessities. The corrugated cross-section design enhances compressive and bending resistance and is commonly found in building roofs, walls, and sound insulation panels.
